Industrial Engineer - Aluminium die casting

Role Overview: As an Industrial Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the GDC (Gravity Die Casting) shift shop floor operations in our Piston Foundry. Your primary role will involve supervising the melting and metal treatment process for Aluminium Silicon Alloy to ensure smooth production and adherence to quality standards. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and monitor GDC shift operations, including overseeing 12-hour shifts. - Supervise melting and metal treatment processes for aluminium-silicon alloys. - Maintain production efficiency and ensure timely completion of daily targets. - Prepare and analyze DWM reports, shift production reports, and red bin analysis. - Implement process improvements to reduce rejections and optimize productivity. - Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and production planning teams. - Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards on the shop floor. Qualification Required: - Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. - Hands-on experience in piston die casting operations preferred. - Sound understanding of foundry processes and aluminium alloys.
