Job Description

As a Tax Professional specializing in Indirect Taxation at Siemens, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future through your exceptional experience in this field. You will have the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to transforming industries, cities, and even countries. By bringing deep insight, an independent viewpoint, and expertise to business issues, you will be a trusted partner to the local leadership team. Your key responsibilities will include: - Analyzing and interpreting Indirect tax laws & regulations to ensure compliance - Providing in-house advisory to business teams and interacting with customers and vendors when necessary - Managing litigations in pre-GST and post-GST regime, including end-to-end litigation management - Leading tax digitization and automation projects to reduce manual processes - Coordinating and handling Tax Assessments/Audits by Tax Authorities in various States - Proactively engaging in learning and education for yourself and your team - Providing necessary trainings to business units on a regular basis To excel in this role, you should possess: - 3-6 years of post-qualification experience in indirect taxation, particularly in tax advisory and litigation - Chartered Accountant qualification with a background in indirect taxes; a degree in law would be advantageous - Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Power-Point, along with effective presentation skills - Experience working in SAP environment and designing tax-specific reports as part of tax automation - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence, provide solutions, and execute effectively - A vibrant personality, friendly attitude, and a passion for continuous learning and development Siemens is committed to diversity and equality, and we welcome applications from individuals across various backgrounds.
