About the Role We are seeking a passionate and creative Graphic Designer to join our in-house team at Yelahanka. The selected candidate will play a key role in shaping the schools visual identity through engaging and consistent design across various platforms. This role is ideal for a recent design graduate who is enthusiastic about education, branding, and creative storytelling. Key Roles & Responsibilities 1. School Branding & Identity Assist in maintaining and evolving the visual identity of the school Design branded templates and materials (stationery, signage, folders, etc.) Support consistency across all design assets Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency across all design and marketing materials 2. Event Collateral Design Create eye-catching designs for school events, celebrations, and campaigns Develop posters, invites, banners, certificates, and event-related media Coordinate with event teams for timely design deliveries 3. Social Media Content Creation Design engaging and dynamic posts, stories, and carousels for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn Develop and implement creative concepts for social media campaigns to promote the school's events, achievements, and activities Collaborate with the marketing team to align visuals with content strategies Produce high-quality videos for social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn, including editing and post-production 4. Internal Communication Design Develop internal newsletters, announcements, digital screens, banners and notice board creatives Design presentations and internal reports as per branding guidelines 5. Coordination & Execution Work closely with department heads to understand creative needs Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines Liaise with printers and vendors when required. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in graphic design, video production, and social media marketing Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Work closely with other departments to understand their design needs and provide creative solutions Preferred candidate profile Skills & Qualifications A degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Communication Design, Visual Arts, or a related field Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and Video Editing Software (e.g., Adobe Premier Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.) Familiarity with Canva and other design platforms as well as content management systems and email marketing platforms will be a plus Experience with photography and photo editing Strong sense of design aesthetics, colour theory, and typography Good communication and collaboration skills 1-3 years of experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing creative and innovative designs. Freshers who have completed a full certified course may also apply Strong understanding of social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn, and their respective best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Highly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively A creative mind-set with a passion for design and marketing Ability to work independently and take initiative, while also being a team player Preferred Candidate Female candidates are preferred for this position Passionate about the education sector and working in a collaborative school environment Willing to work from the Yelahanka campus full-time adhering to the norms of the school To Apply: Join us in our mission to provide quality education and promote our school's brand through creative and impactful marketing materials.
