Implementations Engineer

Cloud24x7 is currently seeking an Implementations Engineer to become a part of our Global SOC team. As an Engineer, you will collaborate within a team environment focusing on monitoring the security devices" health and wellness within our partners" client networks. You will have the opportunity to work alongside a prominent global leader in IT Security Services, offering support to our extensive partner base amidst the ever-evolving technology landscape. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing new network solutions, enhancing the efficiency of existing networks, as well as installing, configuring, and supporting various network equipment such as Firewalls, routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS, and DHCP. Additionally, you will be tasked with configuring firewalls, routing, and switching to optimize network efficiency and security, maximizing network performance through continuous monitoring and troubleshooting, scheduling upgrades, investigating network faults, updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases, and reporting network status to key stakeholders. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in Network Security Operations or Managed Security Services Operation Center. Root cause analysis experience, hands-on experience with network and security components, and the ability to learn, comprehend, and adapt to new technologies are key requirements for this role. Additionally, a strong understanding of network troubleshooting tools, such as Wireshark and tcpdump, a comprehensive view of information security threats and compliance, self-starting abilities, multitasking skills, and the capability to work effectively within a high-performance team are essential. Desirable qualifications include certifications like Network+, Security+, CCNP, or similar, as well as recommended Firewall Certification such as NSE4 or equivalent. Experience with international customers and advanced knowledge of the TCP and IP protocol suite, security architecture, and remote access security techniques and products are highly advantageous for this position.
