The department is one of only a few broad-based anthropology departments in the UK, comprising five sub-sections: Evolutionary and Environmental Anthropology, Social Anthropology, Material Culture, Medical Anthropology, and Public Anthropology. About The Role We have an exciting opportunity for an Immersive Technician to join our friendly professional services team in the Department of Anthropology at our UCL East campus. The post holder will work closely with the Immersive Factual Storytelling Programme Lead and the department's teaching and technical staff, actively participating in Public Anthropology's creative, dynamic community. About You We are seeking a professional with proven experience in VR fundamentals and/or general media technical knowledge, along with a strong understanding of relevant health and safety considerations. You will possess an in-depth knowledge of specialist 360-degree cameras, spatial audio equipment, and IT systems related to immersive media production, including the relevant specialist software and media formats, as well as a willingness to learn new skills.
