Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and Reach Out to Architectural Studios:

    Proactively research, identify, and establish initial contact with architectural firms to introduce our company and services.
  • Build and Maintain Relationships:

    Cultivate and nurture strong, long-term relationships with architects, designers, and specifiers. Act as the primary point of contact for these clients.
  • Manage the Sales Process:

    Drive the entire sales cycle, from initial outreach and lead generation to proposal development, negotiation, and closing new business opportunities.
  • Coordinate Samples:

    Manage the logistics of providing product samples to architectural studios and clients, ensuring timely delivery and follow-up.
  • Track Market Activity:

    Stay informed about market trends, competitor activity, and new construction projects to identify potential opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Basic Management of Site:

    Occasionally visit job sites to gain a deeper understanding of project requirements, troubleshoot issues, and strengthen client relationships.
  • Strong Communication Skills:

    Act as a clear and effective liaison between our company, architectural partners, and clients. You must be able to articulate our value proposition, understand client needs, and facilitate a smooth workflow.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field within the construction or design industry.
  • A strong network of contacts within the architectural and design communities is highly preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong ability to work independently.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools is a plus.
