Build and Maintain Relationships: Cultivate and nurture strong, long-term relationships with architects, designers, and specifiers. Act as the primary point of contact for these clients. Manage the Sales Process: Drive the entire sales cycle, from initial outreach and lead generation to proposal development, negotiation, and closing new business opportunities. Coordinate Samples: Manage the logistics of providing product samples to architectural studios and clients, ensuring timely delivery and follow-up. Track Market Activity: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activity, and new construction projects to identify potential opportunities and maintain a competitive edge. Basic Management of Site: Occasionally visit job sites to gain a deeper understanding of project requirements, troubleshoot issues, and strengthen client relationships. Strong Communication Skills: Act as a clear and effective liaison between our company, architectural partners, and clients. You must be able to articulate our value proposition, understand client needs, and facilitate a smooth workflow. Qualifications Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field within the construction or design industry. A strong network of contacts within the architectural and design communities is highly preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Proactive and self-motivated with a strong ability to work independently. Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools is a plus.
