Illustrator

Role Overview:

You will be responsible for designing compelling characters and creating high-impact illustrations that align with the tone and style of each series. This includes key art for covers, promotional illustrations, and potential interior art for special editions or merchandise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop original character designs based on given story briefs or world-building guidelines.
• Create promotional illustrations, cover art, and concept visuals for manga/manhwa/webtoon titles.
• Collaborate closely with writers, editors, and the marketing team to align visuals with brand tone and story essence.
• Adapt and match various art styles as needed—ranging from dynamic action (like shonen) to elegant fantasy or slice-of-life aesthetics.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute creative ideas for promotional campaigns and merchandise.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong portfolio demonstrating character design, dynamic poses, and expressive storytelling.
• Proficient in digital illustration tools like Clip Studio Paint, Photoshop, Procreate, or equivalent.
• Excellent understanding of anatomy, costume design, gesture drawing, and expression.
• Ability to adapt to different manga/manhwa/webtoon styles (high-energy action, fantasy, romance, etc.).
• Good sense of composition, color, and visual narrative.
• Open to feedback with a collaborative, team-first mindset.
• Passion for manga, manhwa, webtoons, and graphic storytelling is a must.

Nice to Have:• Experience working with manga paneling, light storyboarding, or comic layouts.

• Prior experience in the publishing, webtoon, or gaming industry.
• Familiarity with Japanese, Korean, or indie comic art styles

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
