Job Purpose:

Ignition Lead Developer

Role & responsibilities

• Solution Architecture

  : Design and develop scalable SCADA and MES solutions utilizing Ignition's Perspective and Vision modules, ensuring seamless integration with enterprise systems like ERP and PLM .

• System Integration

  : Lead the integration of shop-floor systems (e.g., PLCs) with enterprise software, facilitating real-time data visibility and operational efficiency .

• Project Leadership

  : Manage project timelines, deliverables, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution and delivery .

• Technical Support & Optimization

  : Provide advanced troubleshooting, optimize system performance, and implement best practices in MES and SCADA development .

• Documentation & Training

  : Develop comprehensive technical documentation, user manuals, and mentor junior developers to foster team growth and knowledge sharing.

Required Skills & Qualification:

• Technical Proficiency

  :
• Extensive experience with Ignition platform, including Perspective and Vision modules.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python (Jython) and SQL.
• Familiarity with industrial protocols like MQTT, OPC UA, and Modbus.
• Experience with Sepasoft MES modules, including OEE, SPC, and Track & Trace .

Certifications

• Ignition Core and Gold Certifications are often preferred.

Experience

• Typically, 7+ years in industrial automation and MES solutions.
• Proven track record of leading full-cycle implementation projects on Ignition Perspective and Sepasoft platforms .
