Clinical Support

• Vital Signs Monitoring: Regularly check and document patients’ blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, oxygen saturation, and temperature.
• Assisting with Procedures: Help nurses and doctors during procedures such as intubation, central line placement, or dressing changes.
• Basic Patient Care: Perform tasks like repositioning patients, suctioning, catheter care, and hygiene maintenance.

Equipment Handling

• Operate ICU Equipment: Set up and maintain ventilators, infusion pumps, monitors, and other life-support systems.
• Calibration & Troubleshooting: Ensure all devices are functioning correctly and troubleshoot minor issues or alert biomedical teams when needed.
• Sterilization and Maintenance: Clean and disinfect medical equipment to maintain infection control standards.

Documentation & Communication

• Patient Records: Accurately document vital signs, inputs/outputs, and observations in patient charts or electronic medical records.
• Reporting Changes: Immediately inform nurses or doctors about any sudden changes in a patient’s condition.
• Interdepartmental Coordination: Coordinate with labs, radiology, or transport teams for patient care logistics.
