Job Description

Role & responsibilities Overall In-charge for BMS. To follow departmental policies, procedures and rules - regulation. Authorized to monitor and stop any unsafe work practices. Monitor Fire Graphics and BMS Graphics Server Alarms Pop up On Both Graphics Server. Provide expert knowledge, guidance and leadership in the development of the BMS. Lead and direct internal staff and contractors in the planned, preventative and reactive maintenance of the BMS and any system or software upgrades. Complete fault diagnosis and rectification on the whole range of BMS equipment. Identify potential system software and hardware issues that may lead unnecessary failure of service thereby minimizing risk, disruption and inconvenience to building users. Train & maintenance BMS staff in the operations and use of the BMS system. Respond and resolve help desk work requests within the timescales specified on the work requests i.e. zero breakdown time. Ensure documentation is completed accurately and on time. Provide information as requested for risk registers, conditions, surveys and data bases. Maintain the health and safety of self and others at all time by adhering to health and safety legislation and the organizations health and safety policy and additional safe working practice outline in the departmental safety handbook. Support apprentices in a trainer role. Working with integrity, honesty, fairness & respect with people. Focus on excellence & continually improving the quality of our service by welcoming innovation. BBS Monitoring Competent for Medical First Aider Accident, incident, near miss report and investigation monitoring Management and control workstation ergonomics (including DSE), personal protective equipment, psychosocial hazards Involvement in On Site Emergency Plan and Business continuity Plan. Participate in safety suggestion scheme. Identification of hazards, opportunities and assessment of risk Involvement in On Site Emergency Plan and Business continuity Plan. Monitoring of OHS & Wellbeing Objective. Work-zone Monitoring Report wellbeing issues to welfare officer.
