Job Description

Your Role

Install, configure, and maintain IBM MQ on distributed platforms (Windows, Linux, UNIX).

Monitor MQ performance and availability; troubleshoot messaging issues.

Manage MQ objects such as queue managers, queues, channels, and listeners.

Implement and maintain security protocols for MQ environments.

Perform upgrades, patches, and migrations of MQ infrastructure.

Collaborate with development and support teams to optimize message flows.

Develop and maintain documentation for MQ configurations and procedures.

Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry best practices.

Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution.

Provide on-call support and respond to critical incidents.

Your Profile

Strong experience with IBM MQ installation, configuration, and administration.

Proficiency in scripting (Shell, Python, etc.) for automation and monitoring.

Familiarity with messaging protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/S).

Understanding of SSL/TLS and other security mechanisms.

Experience with cloud platforms (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure) is a plus.

Knowledge of integration tools like IBM Integration Bus (IIB) or App Connect Enterprise (ACE).

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
