The Role The IBM Maximo Functional Consultant s primary responsibility is to engage with our customers leaders in plant maintenance to provide consulting on value improvement cases, maturity assessments, process improvement, and mobility best practices engagements. Our SCs engage with clients by leading the solution design process, driving adoption of Innovapptives connected worker solutions using cloud based SaaS offerings and mobility solutions. Understand our customer s Maintenance Repair Operations, Plant Maintenance processes, and Asset Management integration touchpoints, and map them to our mobile solution (Oil Gas, Chemicals, Utilities and Discrete Manufacturing Industries) Communicate to our customers leaders the business benefits and ROI (Return on Investment) in deploying our products Guide customers to solutions that maximize process digitization improvements and adoption Execute to-be process solution designs that leverage product capabilities to maximize adoption and enhance end user experience Provide best practice solutions, evaluate and document effective solution alternatives to the business problems if the current product feature does not meet the customer requirements Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks and projects Mentor and advise the Development and Implementation Teams to build technical designs and configure applications What You Bring to the Team: Bachelors Degree in IT or Computers Engineering or equivalent degree in Computer Science At least 5-8 years of hands-on functional solution design experience including requirement gathering, prioritization, documentation, consulting, configuring in the areas of IBM Maximo and EAM Domain. 1+ years of industry experience (Chemicals, Oil Gas, Utility) 4+ years of on-hands IBM Maximo Techno Functional experience in implementation projects. Strong knowledge of IBM Maximo EAM technology including strong enterprise asset and work management processes including spare parts management. Sound knowledge in Maximo Web Application and Anywhere/Mobile. Knowledge on Maximo application modules and features along with understanding on, object structure and attributes. Good to have knowledge of Industry solutions like Maximo for Oil Gas, Maximo for Nuclear, Maximo for Utilities Knowledge of PLSQL/ MSSQL. Experience with Maximo 7.x and above Knowledge on BIRT Reporting Knowledge on troubleshooting Maximo configuration and integration issues Knowledge on deployment of Maximo installation, licence management, patch and release management, API enablement Good to have knowledge on openshift and Linux At least 2 full cycle implementation experience or equivalent experience Experience in handling team size of 2 to 4 directly and deliver training to others Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking in technical and business contexts. Excellent communication and client-facing skills. Passion for innovation, customer success, and digital transformation.
