Overview The IB MYP Individual and Societies Teacher plays a crucial role in shaping the educational journey of students up to grade 10 within the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework. Support students in developing research and presentation skills. Engage with the school community to promote understanding of the Individual and Societies curriculum. Guide students in exploring and understanding global issues effectively. Required Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Education, Social Sciences, or related field. Teaching certification appropriate for the MYP level. Experience teaching in an IB environment, preferably the MYP program. Strong understanding of inquiry-based learning and assessment strategies. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to create a student-centered learning environment. Experience with cultural competency in a diverse classroom setting. Ability to use technology effectively in the classroom. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Experience in developing curricula or instructional materials. Knowledge of global issues and historical contexts relevant to the curriculum. Capacity to adapt teaching methods based on student needs.
