Hydraulic Operator

We are seeking an experienced Hydraulic Operator/Technician to handle installation, maintenance, and repair of hydraulic systems in blast furnace operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair hydraulic systems for blast furnace equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of pumps, cylinders, hoses, and valves.
• Attend breakdowns promptly to minimize furnace downtime.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain detailed maintenance records.
• Support during plant shutdowns, relines, and commissioning activities.

Requirements

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Fitter, or related trade.
• 3–5 years of experience maintaining hydraulic systems in heavy industry (steel plant or blast furnace preferred).
• Willingness to work 12-hour rotational shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Physically fit and able to work at heights or in confined spaces.
