Job Title:

Job Summary:

Blue Star Ltd. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented HVAC Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing efficient, sustainable, and cost-effective HVAC systems for commercial, industrial, and residential projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop HVAC systems including load calculations, ducting, piping, and equipment selection.
Prepare detailed engineering drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
Perform heat load calculations using software like HAP, Carrier E20, or equivalent.
Coordinate with project, procurement, and site teams for seamless project execution.
Review architectural, structural, and electrical drawings to ensure HVAC design integration.
Conduct feasibility studies and prepare design proposals.
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards (ASHRAE, ISHRAE), and safety guidelines.
Participate in design review meetings and client interactions as needed.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and HVAC design tools.
Strong knowledge of HVAC equipment and system design.
Understanding of green building standards and energy efficiency.
Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Experience:

Experience in HVAC design for commercial, industrial, and high-rise building projects.
Knowledge of chiller systems, VRF/VRV, AHU, FCU, ventilation, and ducting systems.
Familiarity with design software such as HAP, Trace 700, and DuctSizer.
