Hvac Design Engineer

1) Should Have a Diploma/ UG degree in Engineering in Mechanical / Electrical / HVAC

2) Make Heat load calculations as per ASHRAE standards, should know to determine how much heating and cooling power various equipment must put out in order to heat or cool spaces when needed.

3) In Design of HVAC systems, should have knowledge in DX, VRF, Chilled water system, Air cooled Chillers and Refrigeration systems. Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and blueprints for new projects. They also draft new plans to design ductwork and piping systems for that particular System.

4) Duct routing, Copper pipe routing and Chilled Water Piping system should be known.

5) Should prepare Tender. Do cost comparisons between various selected Vendors through Tenders.

6) Coordinate and collaborate with Architects, Engineers and their teams when designing heating and cooling systems. Coordination with Various selected Vendors also to be done and make them Work as a team.

7) Should do the Measurements of Ducting, Piping and Ancillaries and Certify the Quantities of the Contractors.

8) Should take complete Responsibility in preparing MOM during site meetings, and do clear communication between Vendors and Coordinate will all the Vendors in completing the project on time.

7) Prepare Section drawings in AutoCAD with various MEP services superimposed.

8) Be able to work under pressure and accept business trips.

9) Work with the building design engineer and carry out relevant professional designing independently.

10) Use time management skills to work within tight deadlines and finish projects on time

Desired Candidate Profile

HVAC design Engineer with Full knowledge of Heat load Calculation, Design of HVAC system, should have knowledge in DX, VRF, Chilled Water System, Air Cooled Chillers and Refrigeration systems. Should be strong in CAD drawings including 2D and sections with minimum 3-5 years experience. Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and blueprints for new projects. They also need to draft new plans to design ductwork and piping systems for that particular System.
