HSE OFFICER

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HSE Officer to oversee and implement health, safety, and environmental protocols across both our factory and construction/installation sites. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in promoting a culture of safety, ensuring regulatory compliance, and mitigating risks in dynamic work environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Factory Responsibilities:

* Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company policies.

* Develop, implement, and maintain safety procedures and protocols tailored to factory operations.

* Investigate and report on incidents, accidents, and near-misses; recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

* Facilitate safety training and awareness programs for factory employees.

* Monitor and manage the use and storage of hazardous materials in accordance with legal requirements.

* Ensure proper maintenance and operation of safety equipment and emergency response systems.

* Prepare and maintain detailed records of safety activities, inspections, and compliance documentation.

Installation Site Responsibilities:

* Conduct risk assessments and develop site-specific safety plans for construction and installation projects.

* Monitor adherence to safety standards and regulations on construction sites, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

* Lead and participate in site safety meetings and toolbox talks to reinforce safety protocols.

* Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to integrate HSE considerations into project planning and execution.

* Investigate and document accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions, and coordinate with relevant authorities as needed.

* Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations, including OSHA standards and other applicable guidelines.

* Promote a culture of safety awareness and proactive risk management among contractors and site personnel.

Qualifications:

Approved Certification in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.

* Professional certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent is highly desirable.

* Proven experience as an HSE Officer, preferably with a background in both factory and construction/installation environments.

* Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, industry standards, and best practices.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and influence staff at all levels.

* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

* Proficiency in using HSE management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
