Job Description

Qualification & Experience

  • Education:

    Post-Graduation in Human Resources (MBA/PGDM in HR mandatory).
  • Experience:

    710 years of HR experience

    , with minimum 4–5 years in Retail / E-commerce / Quick Commerce / multi-location field HR.
  • Preferred:

    Experience managing large manpower (700–900) across multiple stores/locations.

Reporting Structure

  • Reports to:

    Zonal HRBP / Retail HR Lead
  • Key Stakeholders:

    Circle Head , Zonal Manager, Area operations Manager, Store Managers, ER & L&D Teams, Payroll, HR Operations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Partner with Regional Business Head and Cluster Managers to align HR strategy with business goals for 120–130 stores.
  2. Drive manpower planning and ensure optimal workforce availability across the region (TA handled centrally).
  3. Lead employee relations (ER) cases including investigations, fact-finding, disciplinary actions, and documentation.
  4. Address employee grievances promptly and ensure fair, unbiased resolution.
  5. Ensure 100% compliance with labour laws, statutory norms, and Lenskart store-level policies.
  6. Facilitate performance management cycles including goal setting, mid-year review, annual appraisals, and PIP management.
  7. Coach Store Managers and Cluster Managers on people management, counselling, and performance conversations.
  8. Analyze people data—attrition, absenteeism, productivity—and provide insights for business decisions.
  9. Drive employee engagement initiatives, connect sessions, R&R activities, and store visits to improve employee experience.
  10. Track and control attrition, especially for Optometrists and Store Leaders, through targeted retention plans.
  11. Identify capability gaps and coordinate with L&D for training interventions and manager development programs.
  12. Ensure accurate and timely HR operations including attendance, payroll inputs, confirmations, promotions, and transfers.
  13. Maintain HRMS data hygiene, conduct policy communication, and ensure uniform HR process execution across stores.
  14. Travel extensively (60–70%) for store visits, audits, employee meetings, and leadership engagement across Gujarat.
