HR & Operations Intern

HashHackCode is on a mission to redefine tech education by making it inclusive, accessible, and empowering for individuals from all backgrounds and abilities. We’re hiring an HR & Operations Intern who can help us build a people-first culture, scale operations, and create a welcoming workplace for all.

Your Roles and Responsibilities

Talent & Recruitment Support

• Assist in posting job openings and screening resumes.
• Coordinate interviews and help with onboarding new hires.
• Support creation of inclusive and accessible recruitment materials.

Employee Engagement & HR Operations

• Help organize team check-ins, feedback sessions, and virtual activities.
• Support the documentation of HR processes, policies, and training materials.
• Assist in maintaining employee records, tracking attendance, and compiling reports.

Culture & Inclusivity

• Participate in initiatives that promote DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion).
• Bring in creative ideas to support mental health, team bonding, and positive work culture.
• Help ensure communication is clear, inclusive, and accessible to all.

What We’re Looking For

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in HR, Psychology, Business, or related field.
• Passionate about people, inclusion, and creating supportive environments.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn and take initiative.
• Fluent in English.
• Comfortable using Google Workspace, spreadsheets, and basic documentation tools.
• Prior volunteer or internship experience in HR or social impact spaces is a bonus.
