Position: HR Operations (off role)

Location: Chennai

Position Overview

HR Operations professional (Employee Engagement)

Key Responsibilities

Employee Engagement & Experience

  • Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives, cultural programs, and internal communication activities.
  • Conduct employee surveys, analyze feedback, and support action plans to improve engagement and retention.
  • Act as a point of contact for employee queries, grievances, and policy clarifications.

HR Operations & Employee Life Cycle

  • Manage the complete HR life cycle including recruitment support, onboarding, employee records, confirmations, transfers, exits, and offboarding.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of HR documentation, employee data, and HRMIS records.
  • Support payroll coordination, attendance, leave management, and compliance-related activities.

HR Business Partner (HRBP) Support

  • Partner with business leaders to support workforce planning, employee relations, and performance management processes.
  • Assist in performance appraisal cycles, goal setting, and feedback processes.
  • Support change management initiatives and employee communication.

Onboarding & Induction

  • Manage end-to-end onboarding including offer rollouts, joining formalities, induction programs, and coordination with stakeholders.
  • Ensure smooth assimilation of new hires into the organization.

HR Generalist & Compliance

  • Support implementation and communication of HR policies, procedures, and SOPs.
  • Ensure statutory and labor law compliance as applicable.
  • Coordinate audits, reports, and HR metrics as required.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end HR operations and HR life cycle management
  • Hands-on experience in employee engagement and HR generalist roles
  • Exposure to HRBP activities and stakeholder management
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and process orientation
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity

Preferred Profile

  • Minimum

    5 years of relevant HR experience

  • Experience in corporate, manufacturing, EPC, or project-based environments is an added advantage
  • Proficiency in HRMIS and MS Office tools
