Job Description

Key Responsibilities:1. Statutory Compliance & Labour Laws Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws and statutory regulations, including: 2. Provident Fund (PF) and Employees’ State Insurance (ESI) Manage PF and ESI processes, including employee registration, monthly contributions, withdrawals, and claim settlements. Ensure accurate and timely filing of returns and compliance with EPFO and ESIC regulations. Address employee queries and grievances related to PF and ESI. 3. Payroll and Attendance Monitor employee attendance, leave records, and overtime hours. Coordinate with the payroll department to ensure timely and accurate salary processing. Maintain records of direct and contract workforce in accordance with statutory requirements. 4. Recruitment & Onboarding Assist in recruitment activities for workers, operators, and junior staff. Conduct employee onboarding, orientation, and induction programs. Maintain and update employee personnel files and HR databases. 5. Employee Relations & Welfare Support positive employee relations and assist in handling grievances and disciplinary matters. Implement employee welfare schemes and organize welfare activities in alignment with factory rules. Ensure effective communication with shop-floor employees and contract labour. 6. Training & Development Coordinate statutory and skill-based training programs, including fire safety, first aid, and compliance training. Maintain training records and statutory documentation. Qualifications & Skills: Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labour Welfare, or Industrial Relations. MBA in HR preferred. Experience: 2–5 years of HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial setup. Technical Skills: Sound knowledge of Indian labour laws and statutory compliance Proficient in MS Office and HRMS tools Familiarity with PF and ESI online portals (EPFO/ESIC) Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills High attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and manage field HR responsibilities Factories Act, 1948 Minimum Wages Act, 1948 Payment of Wages Act, 1936 Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970 Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 Maintain statutory registers and documentation as required. Coordinate with government departments for inspections and compliance audits.
