Job Description

Role Overview: You will be joining Microsoft as an HR professional to partner with the people manager community. Your main responsibilities will include coaching managers in key people processes and leading program leadership in specific areas of the employee life cycle to ensure alignment with culture and strategic business priorities. This role is best suited for a data-centric HR professional with experience in leading programs and collaborating with multiple stakeholders. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the Microsoft India manager community and engage with colleagues across Asia on various projects aimed at enhancing and evolving HR processes. Key Responsibilities: - Employee Relations: - Lead diagnostics and resolution of issues related to policy or culture concerns/violations independently or by collaborating with managers/peers in Human Resources and Legal professions. - Assist/partner with Employee Relations Investigations Team (ERIT) or Office of Legal Compliance (OLC) in investigations of serious cases and implement appropriate remediation. - Identify, raise, or escalate issues for trends in employee relations and work with the team to implement solutions to reduce employee relations issues. - HR Solutions Consulting: - Provide expert consulting services to managers and employees in focus areas related to HR programs, processes, and initiatives. - Conduct cross-functional data analysis related to managed processes and initiatives, and present trends/insights. - Participate in identifying and anticipating training needs within a business and recommend customized solutions. - Capability Building: - Conduct one-on-one consulting/coaching with managers on performance management and development-related processes. - Manage/implement scalable capability building projects, programs, and initiatives to address capability gaps. - Recommend customized solutions to address training needs within a business and deliver training as needed. - HR Project and Programs: - Drive the execution, implementation, and operation of scalable Human Resources programs. - Lead the design and implementation of local HR projects or programs based on the unique needs of a business. - Integrate communication strategies and messages from the Center of Excellence and customize them for a business. - Operational Compliance: - Understand and apply Microsoft values and current HR policies regarding managed projects and programs. - Facilitate the localization/update of policies and procedures related to managed projects and programs. - Queue Management: - Manage queries coming through the Customer Relationship Management (CRM)/queue management system and ensure appropriate documentation. - Share feedback/suggestions with shared services regarding the use and improvement of tools. Qualification Required: Required/Minimum Qualifications: - 7+ years experience with Human Resources or Business programs/processes OR - Bachelors Degree AND 5+ years experience with Human Resources/Human resource consulting or Business programs/processes. Additional or Preferred Qualifications: - Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR)/Society for Human Resources Management-Certified Professional (SHRM-CP). - 1+ year of employee relations experience.,
