Job Title: Housekeeping Room Attendant

Department: Housekeeping
Reports To: Housekeeping Supervisor / Executive Housekeeper

Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of guest rooms and assigned public areas to ensure high standards of guest satisfaction and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and service guest rooms daily as per hotel standards
• Change bed linen, make beds, and replace used towels and amenities
• Dust, vacuum, mop floors, and clean bathrooms thoroughly
• Replenish room supplies such as toiletries, tea/coffee, and minibar items
• Report any maintenance issues, damages, or missing items to the supervisor
• Follow hotel safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
• Handle guest requests politely and professionally
• Maintain proper use and care of housekeeping equipment and chemicals
• Adhere to hotel policies, SOPs, and grooming standards

Skills & Requirements:

• Previous experience in housekeeping preferred (freshers can apply)
• Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and chemicals
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically fit to stand, bend, lift, and move for long hours
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays

Education:

• Minimum: 10th Pass (preferred)

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
