The Housekeeping Staff is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of guest rooms, public areas, and back‐of‐house facilities in accordance with hotel standards. This role ensures a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for all guests and contributes to the hotel’s reputation for exceptional service and hospitality. Guest Room Maintenance Clean, sanitize, and prepare guest rooms according to established hotel standards. Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish towels and guest amenities. Dust furniture, clean floors, vacuum carpets, and remove trash. Inspect rooms for maintenance issues and report any defects to the supervisor. Ensure all equipment and supplies are used correctly and safely. Public Area Cleaning Maintain cleanliness of hallways, elevators, lobbies, and other public spaces. Clean and sanitize restrooms and refresh supplies as needed. Ensure windows, mirrors, and fixtures are kept clean and polished. Safety & Compliance follow all hotel policies regarding health, hygiene, and safety standards. Use cleaning chemicals and equipment responsibly and according to instructions. Report any unsafe conditions or potential hazards immediately. Guest Service Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and inquiries. Ensure guest privacy and confidentiality at all times. Handle lost and found items according to hotel procedures. Teamwork & Coordination Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth department operations. Communicate room status updates with the Front Desk and Housekeeping Supervisors. Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions.
