Job Title: Housekeeping Boy/Steward Location: Igatpuri, Maharashtra Salary: ₹10,000 – ₹12,000 per month (including food and accommodation) Duty Hours: 10 hours per day Shift Type: Straight Shift Position Summary: You will be a key part of the food & beverage service team, responsible for ensuring an efficient, clean, and welcoming dining environment for guests. You will assist in the preparation of dining areas, serve food and beverages, maintain hygiene standards, and support the kitchen and service staff. Key Responsibilities: 1. Guest Service & Table Management Greet and assist guests in a friendly and courteous manner. Serve food and beverages as per resort standards. Ensure timely service with attention to detail and cleanliness. Address basic guest queries or requests and escalate issues to senior staff if needed. 2. Dining Area Preparation Set up tables with cutlery, napkins, crockery, and glassware as per the service layout. Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, and service stations before and after shifts. Maintain table presentation and dining ambiance throughout service hours. 3. Support to Kitchen & Cleaning Duties Assist in transporting food orders from the kitchen to the dining area. Clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen tools during and after service hours as needed. Ensure proper waste disposal and cleanliness in pantry and service areas. 4. Health, Hygiene, and Safety Follow all hygiene and safety protocols as prescribed by the resort. Wear a clean uniform and maintain personal hygiene at all times. Report any breakages, unsafe conditions, or maintenance issues immediately. 5. Team Collaboration Coordinate with chefs, captains, and other stewards to ensure seamless service. Follow instructions from supervisors and participate in staff briefings.
