Housekeeping Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across various facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and custodial work, with the ability to perform a variety of janitorial and maintenance tasks. Prior experience in commercial, residential, or industrial cleaning is highly valued. The Housekeeping Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring that all spaces meet high standards of cleanliness and safety, contributing to the overall satisfaction of clients and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors using buffing and floor care techniques.
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas according to established standards.
• Conduct custodial tasks such as trash removal, window washing, and surface disinfecting.
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and equipment upkeep.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as buffers and floor polishers to ensure floors are maintained at optimal condition.
• Support industrial or commercial cleaning projects as needed, including specialized cleaning procedures.
• Follow safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment during all cleaning activities.
• Ensure all assigned areas are kept organized and stocked with necessary supplies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in janitorial, custodial, or facilities maintenance roles preferred.
• Knowledge of various cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and industrial cleaning methods.
• Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as buffers and floor polishers safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and climbing ladders if necessary.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Experience in residential painting or industrial cleaning is a plus but not required.

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹13,500.00 per month
