Senior Food & Beverage Service Staff Cranganor History Café & Riverside Chateau Luxury Resort, Puthenvelikkara Position Overview The Senior Food & Beverage Service Staff member is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service. This role ensures high standards of service, team coordination, guest satisfaction, and smooth day-to-day restaurant operations. Key Responsibilities Guest Service Provide warm, attentive, and personalized service to all guests. Greet guests, assist with seating, and ensure a smooth dining experience. Handle guest requests, inquiries, and complaints professionally. Service Operations Supervise and support daily operations of the F&B outlets. Take orders accurately and coordinate with the kitchen. Ensure timely delivery of food. Maintain high standards of hygiene, service etiquette, and table settings. Team Leadership Guide and assist junior service staff in performing their duties. Help with training new team members in service standards and resort protocols. Ensure smooth communication between service, kitchen, and management teams. Quality & Standards Uphold the luxury resort’s service standards at all times. Ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and proper ambiance in dining areas. Monitor food and beverage quality before serving guests. Operational Support Assist in managing inventory of service equipment and supplies. Participate in special events and private dining arrangements. Support billing, POS operations, and cash handling as needed. Preferred Qualifications 3–6 years of experience in F&B service, preferably in a luxury resort or fine-dining environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of service etiquette, menu presentation, and wine/ beverage basics. Ability to handle guest relations calmly and professionally. Leadership skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
