Housekeeper

Key Responsibilities

• General Cleaning: Dusting furniture and fixtures, vacuuming carpets and rugs, sweeping and mopping floors, and polishing surfaces.
• Sanitation: Cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and other areas to maintain hygiene standards.
• Linen Management: Changing bed linens and towels, and ensuring a sufficient supply of clean ones is available.
• Supply Management: Restocking amenities, toiletries, and cleaning supplies in designated areas.
• Waste Disposal: Emptying trash cans and ensuring proper disposal of garbage and recycling.
• Reporting: Notifying supervisors or management about any maintenance needs, damage, or safety concerns.
• Equipment Care: Ensuring cleaning equipment is used safely, properly, and maintained.

Common Work Environments

• Hospitality: Cleaning guest rooms and common areas in hotels.
• Residential: Maintaining cleanliness in private homes.
• Commercial: Cleaning offices, schools, and other commercial establishments.
