Hospital Maintenance Technician

Role Overview: As a Hospital Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the hospitals infrastructure, equipment, and facilities are maintained in excellent working condition. Your role will involve performing preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, biomedical systems, and general upkeep to support safe, hygienic, and uninterrupted hospital operations. Key Responsibilities: - Perform routine inspections and maintenance of hospital facilities, including plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems. - Address maintenance requests from departments in a timely manner. - Ensure all hospital equipment (non-medical) is functioning properly and safely. - Maintain records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and replacements. - Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs or installations. - Assist in emergency response related to facility issues (e.g., power failures, water leaks). - Ensure compliance with hospital safety standards and NABH guidelines. - Support in renovation or expansion projects by providing technical inputs. - Maintain stock and inventory of tools, parts, and maintenance supplies. - Supervise housekeeping, waste management, and sanitation services as needed. Qualifications Required: - Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role in a healthcare setting. - Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and HVAC systems. - Familiarity with safety regulations and guidelines. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Certification in maintenance or related field is a plus.
