Hospital Maintenance in-charge & Technician

Role Overview: As a Hospital Maintenance Technician, your main responsibility will be to ensure that the hospital's infrastructure, equipment, and facilities are well-maintained to support safe and uninterrupted hospital operations. This will involve conducting both preventive and corrective maintenance on various systems such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and biomedical equipment. Key Responsibilities: - Perform routine inspections and maintenance on hospital facilities, including plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems. - Address maintenance requests promptly from different departments within the hospital. - Guarantee that all non-medical equipment in the hospital is functioning properly and safely. - Keep detailed records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and replacements. - Collaborate with external vendors for specialized repairs or installations. - Assist in emergency responses for facility issues like power failures or water leaks. - Ensure strict compliance with hospital safety standards and NABH guidelines. - Provide technical inputs for renovation or expansion projects. - Manage stock and inventory of tools, parts, and maintenance supplies. - Oversee housekeeping, waste management, and sanitation services as required. Qualifications Required: - Previous experience in maintenance or facilities management. - Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and biomedical systems. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work effectively under pressure in emergency situations. - Familiarity with safety standards and guidelines for hospital maintenance. - Good communication skills to coordinate with internal departments and external vendors.
