Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Plan, design, and maintain gardens, parks, and landscapes.
Select and propagate plants suitable for soil, climate, and project requirements.
Manage nursery operations including propagation, grafting, pruning, and transplantation.
Conduct soil and plant health analysis and recommend improvements.
Supervise maintenance staff, gardeners, and field workers.
Research and introduce new plant varieties, landscaping techniques, and sustainable practices.
Prepare reports, budgets, and proposals for landscaping or horticultural projects.
Collaborate with architects, agricultural scientists, municipal bodies, and clients.

Preferred candidate profile

Masters degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, Botany, or related field.
Proven experience in landscaping, nursery management, or horticultural research. Knowledge of modern horticultural techniques, greenhouse management, and irrigation systems. Familiarity with plant diseases, integrated pest management (IPM), and soil management.
