Horticulturist

Bharat Agrolink is looking for a knowledgeable and passionate Horticulturist to support crop planning, plant health management, and overall horticultural development. The candidate should have strong expertise in plant science, soil management, crop protection, and modern cultivation practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and monitor horticultural crop cultivation
• Assess soil conditions and recommend amendments for optimum plant growth
• Provide technical guidance on fertilizers, pesticides, and plant nutrition
• Diagnose plant diseases, pests, and nutrient deficiencies and suggest solutions
• Implement modern cultivation techniques such as pruning, grafting, irrigation, mulching, etc.
• Conduct field visits, crop inspections, and provide farmer advisory support
• Maintain data on crop performance and prepare periodic reports
• Coordinate with the agronomy, sales, and field teams for product demonstration and field trials
• Ensure best practices for greenhouse, nursery, and open-field crop management
• Stay updated with the latest trends in horticulture and sustainable farming

Requirements :

• Minimum 2 years of experience in horticulture or related agricultural fields
• Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, or Allied Sciences
• Strong knowledge of crop cultivation, plant physiology, and soil science
• Ability to diagnose plant health issues and recommend suitable treatments
• Experience in nursery management, greenhouse practices, and field crop management
• Good communication and advisory skills for working with farmers and field staff
• Ability to travel for field visits and demonstrations
• Proficiency in maintaining reports and technical documentation

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹36,910.58 per month
