You will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of our organic farm and city-based farm shop. This role will involve hands-on work, customer interaction, social media management, and learning sustainable farming practices. The ideal candidate should be passionate about organic agriculture, enjoy working outdoors, and possess strong organizational and communication skills. Your key responsibilities will include operating the farm shop in the city, handling sales, inventory, and customer interactions. You will educate customers about organic produce, farming practices, and seasonal offerings, while ensuring that the shop is clean, well-stocked, and attractively displayed. In terms of social media and marketing, you will manage social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) by posting updates, photos, and videos of farm life, produce, and shop offerings. It will be your responsibility to engage with followers, respond to messages, and promote farm events or sales. Additionally, you will assist in designing simple marketing materials (flyers, newsletters) to attract customers. As part of your learning and growth, you will participate in workshops or training sessions on organic farming, permaculture, or sustainable agriculture. You will also be expected to research and suggest improvements for farm productivity and eco-friendly practices. Qualifications & Skills: - Interest in organic farming, sustainability, and local food systems. - Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions. - Basic knowledge of plants, gardening, or farming (experience preferred but not required). - Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members. - Social media savvy with an eye for engaging content. - Reliable, organized, and able to multitask between farm and shop duties.
