Job Title: Home Tutor (In-Person, Student’s Location) Company: RightTutor Location: Bangalore – Multiple Areas Job Type: Part-Time Summary We’re looking for skilled and committed tutors who can teach students in person at their homes. If you have a strong grasp of academic subjects and enjoy helping students one-on-one, this is a chance to do meaningful work with a flexible schedule. You’ll play a key role in helping children strengthen their understanding, stay on track with school, and build academic confidence. Success in this role means consistent delivery of engaging lessons, building trust with students and parents, and showing measurable progress in learning over time. You’ll be supported by our team and connected to students based on your subject expertise, location, and availability. Responsibilities Teach school subjects (Grades 1–12) according to the student’s syllabus (CBSE, ICSE, IB, or IGCSE) Prepare for each session with relevant materials and examples Assess student strengths and areas for improvement and adjust teaching methods accordingly Communicate with parents regarding student progress when needed Maintain punctuality, professionalism, and consistency Preferred Qualifications Graduate or postgraduate in any discipline (priority for education, science, commerce, or language streams) Prior experience as a home tutor, schoolteacher, or coaching faculty Good command of the subject matter and ability to simplify concepts Clear communication in English and at least one local language (Kannada or Hindi) Ability to travel to students’ homes in your local area What We Offer Verified tutoring leads based on your location and subject Transparent hourly or per-session payments Flexible timings as per your availability Continued support from our team for scheduling, materials, and feedback Long-term assignments available for consistent performers Job Type: Part-time Pay: ₹7,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month Expected hours: 8 per week Benefits: Flexible schedule Schedule: Evening shift Supplemental Pay: Overtime pay Application Question(s): Which area of Bangalore can you teach?
