Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Home Textile Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in designing prints, woven, dobby, and jacquard patterns for home textiles. This is a full-time, on-site role at our Karur facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop original textile designs (print, woven, dobby, and jacquard) for kitchen, table, and living products.
• Research and interpret global design trends, colour palettes, and buyer mood boards into commercially viable designs.
• Create detailed design sheets, CADs, and weave plans for production.
• Work closely with the sampling and production teams to ensure accurate execution of designs.
• Maintain an updated design archive and seasonal collection boards.
• Collaborate with marketing/sales teams to prepare design presentations for buyers.
• Ensure designs align with export market requirements (quality, compliance, and aesthetics).

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in home textile design (export/domestic markets).
• Strong expertise in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, NedGraphics, Textronics, or equivalent textile CAD software.
• Solid understanding of woven structures, color combinations, yarns, and fabric construction.
• Ability to develop jacquard and dobby weave files and coordinate with weaving teams.
• Knowledge of surface embellishments, finishes, and trend forecasting.
• Excellent creativity, attention to detail, and commercial awareness.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Textile Design / Fashion Design / Fine Arts.
• Prior experience in export-focused home textile companies.
• Knowledge of sustainability trends and eco-friendly materials is a plus.
