About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Head of Department (Mathematics) to lead the Mathematics faculty. The role involves academic planning, curriculum management, mentoring teachers, and ensuring high standards of teaching and learning across the department. The candidate should have a strong passion for mathematics education and the ability to motivate both teachers and students toward excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop the Mathematics Department to ensure high academic standards.
• Design, review, and update curriculum plans and teaching methodologies.
• Mentor and support teachers in implementing innovative teaching techniques.
• Conduct regular departmental meetings, workshops, and teacher training sessions.
• Oversee student assessments, performance analysis, and remedial programs.
• Collaborate with the academic leadership team to achieve institutional goals.
• Ensure adherence to school policies, examination standards, and academic calendars.
• Promote the use of technology and digital tools in teaching and learning.
• Foster a positive and disciplined learning environment.
• Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and academic audits.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree with B.Ed. (Master’s in Mathematics preferred).
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in teaching or academic leadership roles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to lead, inspire, and manage a team of teachers.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
• Comfortable with smart classroom technology and digital teaching tools.
• Passionate about education and committed to continuous improvement.
