HOD English (Manikonda, Hyderabad)

We are looking for a Head of the Department of English with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience teaching English for Grade 9th and 10th in the CBSE curriculum. The ideal candidate must be located in Hyderabad

Qualification: Post Graduates/Graduate with B.Ed

Job location: Manikonda, Hyderabad

• Lead and oversee the English department across all assigned grade levels.
• Plan, implement, and review the English curriculum in alignment with board and school guidelines.
• Ensure effective lesson planning, innovative teaching methodologies, and integration of language skills (LSRW).
• Guide, mentor, and support English teachers to enhance instructional quality and professional growth.
• Monitor students’ academic progress, assessments, and language development.
• Design and implement assessment strategies, projects, and enrichment activities.
• Conduct departmental meetings, classroom observations, and teacher evaluations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Active participation in teaching and learning activities.
• Address student concerns and try to resolve on priority at her level.
