Job Description

Strong knowledge and experience in pathology.
Proficiency in histology and laboratory medicine.
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in animal dosing via various routes.
Knowledge of veterinary medicine and animal diseases.
Perform animal anesthesia (injectables and inhalation), blood collection via retro orbital plexus, maxillary vein and tail vein.
Perform Euthanasia (Cervical, CO2 asphyxiation, anesthetic overdose), and Necropsy, gross pathology and histopathological examination of animals tissues.
Preparation of Clinical pathology reports.
Support in GLP/Non GLP studies by providing information on pathology related procedures and contribute to scientific publications and presentations.
Responsible for archival slides, wet samples, and specimens.
Responsible for maintenance, calibration and ordering of laboratory equipment and instruments and chemicals required for histopathology lab.
