Job Summary:

ServiceNow Technical Lead

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of ServiceNow solutions across ITOM, HRSD, ITSM, and SPM modules.
  • Provide technical leadership to a team of developers and consultants, ensuring best practices and standards are maintained.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and other IT teams to gather requirements, provide solutions, and drive implementations.
  • Architect scalable and maintainable ServiceNow applications and workflows.
  • Develop custom scripts, workflows, integrations, and automation solutions within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Conduct code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of ServiceNow applications.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance to enhance team capabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with IT governance, security policies, and change management processes.
  • Stay updated on ServiceNow platform enhancements and recommend adoption of new features.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong experience (5+ years) with ServiceNow platform focusing on ITOM, HRSD, ITSM, and SPM modules.
  • Expertise in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript), Glide APIs, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Service Portal development.
  • Experience with ServiceNow integrations (REST, SOAP, LDAP, MID Server).
  • Proven track record in leading ServiceNow implementations and managing technical teams.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes and how they map to ServiceNow capabilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.

  • ServiceNow certifications (Certified System Administrator, Certified Implementation Specialist in ITOM/HRSD/ITSM/SPM) are highly desirable.
