Job Description

The role includes financial responsibilities & tasks, meticulous oversight & management of daily transactions, bank reconciliations, corporate banking activities, General Ledger accuracy, monthly book closure & MIS, managing stakeholders relations, ensuring compliance with tax obligations including TDS and GST filings & annual returns, asset management and assistance with tax assessments. The role also involves supporting audit processes, managing foreign transactions and demonstrating an independent work ethic - to ensure the maintenance taining of financial health and compliance of the company.

  • Daily Financial Oversight: Rigorous monitoring of day-to-day transactions, ensuring all vouchers are thoroughly verified for accuracy.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Diligently matching bank entries in Tally with bank statements to maintain financial integrity.
  • Corporate Banking: Handling all banking transactions for the company, ensuring financial operations run smoothly.
  • General Ledger (GL) Management: Prompt verification and immediate rectification of any discrepancies in the GL to uphold accounting standards.
  • Vendor Management: Systematic maintenance of the Vendor Master database and timely processing of vendor payments.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensuring punctual payments and filing of Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) returns, adhering to statutory deadlines.
  • Tax Assessment Assistance: Assisting in handling income tax assessments, providing support and documentation as needed.
  • GST Filing & Reconciliation: Accurate and timely submission of GST returns, including GSTR1 and GSTR-3B, to comply with tax regulations, monthly reconciliation of GSTR2A/2B, cross-verifying input tax credits with supplier declarations, filing of annual returns, including GSTR-9 & 9C, ensuring compliance with GST regulations.
  • Audit Support: Providing comprehensive information and support to both internal and statutory auditors during audit processes.
  • Foreign Transactions: Managing import payments and resolving any issues with the Import Data Processing and Monitoring System (IDPMS) and Export Data Processing and Monitoring System (EDPMS) efficiently.
  • Independent Work Ethic: Demonstrating the ability to work independently, taking initiative and responsibility for tasks, timely closure and driving outcomes.
  • Asset Management: Overseeing fixed assets control and management, ensuring accurate tracking and valuation of company assets.
