Job Description

Key Responsibilities

SAP Utilities Billing (IS-U Billing)

Configure and support end-to-end
billing and invoicing processes
for electricity, gas, and water utilities.
Handle
rate determination, billing schemas, and billing execution
.
Ensure smooth integration with
FICA and FI modules
.
Troubleshoot billing errors and performance issues.

SAP Utilities CRM

Implement and support
customer interaction, service orders, and case management
.
Configure
CIC (Customer Interaction Center)
, complaint handling, and service requests.
Integrate SAP CRM with
IS-U, FICA, and Device Management
.
Enhance customer experience through automation and workflow improvements.

SAP Utilities Customer Financial Management (FICA)

Configure
payments, invoicing, clearing, dunning, collections, and disconnections
.
Manage
contract accounts, open item management, and mass activities
.
Integrate with SAP FI for GL postings and reconciliation.
Support revenue accounting and regulatory compliance.

SAP Utilities Energy Data Management (EDM) & Device Management

Manage
meter installation, removal, replacement, and billing-relevant device data
.
Configure
EDM profiles, time-based consumption, and interval data processing
.
Handle
smart meter integration and validation, estimation & substitution (VES)
.
Ensure seamless data flow between
DM, EDM, Billing, and FICA
.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience in
SAP IS-U Utilities module
(Billing / CRM / FICA / EDM & DM).
Good understanding of
Utilities business processes
(Electricity, Gas, Water).
Exposure to
S/4HANA Utilities or ECC IS-U
.
Integration knowledge with
FI, SD, CRM, and Middleware systems
.
Experience in
end-to-end implementation, enhancement, and production support
projects.
Strong analytical, debugging, and documentation skills.
