Role Overview:

Office Support Guide

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet and greet the employee at the office gate or building entrance each day.
  • Escort and guide the employee to their workstation safely and assist with daily workspace setup if needed.
  • Provide on-demand assistance to navigate to:
    • Meeting rooms
    • Restrooms
    • Office common areas and other facilities
  • Accompany the employee to the office restaurant or cafeteria during meal times, assisting with:
    • Navigating the space
    • Ordering meals or beverages
    • Carrying food or drinks to the table
  • Ensure the employees comfort and safety during movements around the premises.
  • Coordinate with HR or Facilities to ensure accessibility support is continuous and well-managed.
  • Maintain professional confidentiality, respect, and sensitivity at all times.
  • Offer polite and patient verbal guidance when required.
  • Report any accessibility or mobility concerns in the workplace to the HR team for resolution.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Essential:

    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Empathetic, patient, and respectful demeanor.
    • Physically capable of walking and moving throughout the office for extended periods.
    • Dependable, punctual, and professional.
    • Strong sense of responsibility and confidentiality.
  • Preferred:

    • Prior experience as a

      support worker

      ,

      mobility assistant

      ,

      accessibility guide

      , or in a

      disability support

      role.
    • Basic awareness of

      workplace accessibility

      and

      inclusion practices

      .

Working Conditions:

  • On-site presence required during the supported employees working hours.
  • May involve assisting during short walks within the building and occasional escorting to cafeteria or meeting areas.
  • Collaboration with HR, Facilities, and the immediate team to ensure smooth coordination.
