Hiring For Vehicle Integration Head - 2W EV

Role & responsibilities

1. Lead the design and implementation of vehicle integration strategies to meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements.

2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, proto and testing to integrate subsystems and resolve integration issues.

3. Conduct thorough testing and validation of integrated vehicle systems to identify and address performance deficiencies or compatibility issues. Understanding of CAE and vehicle level Strength and DVP requirements.

4. Vehicle level layout preparation considering Strokes, Specs and packaging volume and aggregates requirements.

5. Perform Vehicle level calculation for TCD, Wheel base, CG, Powertrain, Performance, Chain, Vehicle geometry etc.

6. Finalization of overall vehicle specs.

7. Executing envelop generation, Tolerance stack up, Power train placement, components packaging, Material selection and complete vehicle level integration checks.

8. Executing DFA/ DFS and DFM checks and providing issue resolution.

9. Conducting Vehicle level DFMEA.

10. Providing vehicle level inputs for Generation of SOR.

11. Inputs for Harness and Brakes routing.

12. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers involved in vehicle integration projects.

Technical / Desired Skills:

1. Proficiency in vehicle dynamics and mechanics to understand the interactions between different vehicle components.

2. Understanding of NVH, ride & handling dynamics. Familiarity with CAE, testing, validation processes and DVP of electric 2W.

3. Strong knowledge of automotive materials, Mechanical and electrical systems and all vehicle aggregates.

Preferred candidate profile

IT/Software skills required:

1. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, NX) for designing vehicle components and assemblies.

2. Experience with simulation software (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink).

3. Familiarity with PLM tools.
