Hiring For Senior Accounts Executive

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable (AP):

• Review and verify purchase orders, invoices, and expense reports.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices.
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
• Process payments through online banking systems, cheques, or other modes.
• Maintain vendor master data and reconcile vendor statements regularly.
• Handle foreign remittances with 15CA & 15CB generation.
• Ensure compliance with TDS, GST, and other statutory regulations.

Accounts Receivable (AR):

• Generate and issue invoices as per the contract terms or service delivery.
• Follow up with clients/customers for timely collections.
• Monitor customer accounts for delayed payments and coordinate dunning.
• Allocate and apply incoming payments accurately in the accounting system.
• Reconcile AR ledger and resolve discrepancies with clients.
• Provide aging analysis reports and cash flow forecasts to management.

General & Reporting:

• Prepare monthly AP & AR aging reports, reconciliations, and other MIS reports.
• Assist in monthly/quarterly/year-end closing activities.
• Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.
• Support process improvements, automation initiatives, and ERP implementations (if any).
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of accounting principles related to AP & AR.
• Proficiency in accounting software SAP mandatory
• Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and other relevant taxation.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in commerce / finance / accounting (B.Com)
• Master's degree (M. Com / MBA Finance) or relevant certification (CA Inter, CMA Inter) is a plus
• 4-7 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in the service industry
