We are seeking an experienced GIS Manager with strong expertise in practical mapping, cartography, and GIS software tools. The role involves overseeing GIS operations, managing spatial data projects, leading a technical team, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality cartographic outputs to support decision-making across the organization.
GIS Strategy & Management
Develop and implement GIS strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Manage GIS infrastructure, software licensing, and system integration.
Cartography & Mapping
Lead the creation of high-quality, accurate, and aesthetically effective cartographic products.
Standardize symbology, styles, and map templates across projects.
Support thematic mapping, spatial visualization, and interactive dashboards.
Supervise GIS analysts, cartographers, and developers.
Manage and maintain GIS databases, web mapping applications, and analytical models.
Need 12 years of professional experience in GIS and mapping, with at least 3 years in a leadership/managerial role.
Strong proficiency in GIS software and cartography tools.
Experience with spatial databases ( and data integration workflows.
Knowledge of web GIS platforms is desirable.
Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Advanced cartographic design & map production.
GIS data modeling, spatial analysis, and visualization.
Strong knowledge of coordinate systems, projections, and georeferencing.
