Position Summary Business Intelligence Governance Lead

The Business Intelligence Governance Lead is responsible for providing technical leadership across Enterprise Data & Corporate Technology (EDCT). This role supports key project-driven initiatives and operational tasks to maintain the integrity of infrastructure environment, with a strong focus on platform governance.

Specific Responsibilities: This role will be in the Claw Team within Enterprise Data & Corporate Technology (EDCT). The Business Intelligence team maintains the firms business intelligence tools and infrastructure. The Business Intelligence Governance Lead will be the point person for the governance activities related to the platforms supported by the team (specifically, Looker, Sigma Computing, Power BI and Snowflake).

• Development and implementation of Policies, Standards and Procedures
• Align with stakeholders and users to enforce or remediate non-standard usage.
• Actively strive to keep Standards documents, Process and Procedures Documents, and Baseline documents up to date with emerging industry standards
• Develop and maintain metadata repositories.
• Collaborate and support data stewards across the enterprise on governance best practices.
• Conduct education sessions and working sessions with users and SMEs to align reporting.
• Monitor and report on data quality metrics.
• Implement automated metrics and KPIs for clear and transparent reporting and progress against governance program goals.
• Provide guidance for projects on data governance principles.

• Work closely with other project managers and scrum masters to create and update project plans

• Bachelor's degree preferred equivalent experience

Specific Skills and Technologies

• 4 8 years in data governance, data management ideally in a Financial Services or other highly regulated environment
• Working knowledge of Collibra
• Knowledge of data governance challenges and solutions
• General awareness of industry trends in BI tools, platforms, processes
• Ability to facilitate educational and working sessions with stakeholders and users.
• Experience with supporting Enterprise Tools
