Job Description

Role & Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Parcel Modularization and Deployment team to standardize products and develop supporting tooling.
Work closely with R&D and project engineering teams to support product development and release cycles.
Resolve PR/CR issues during product releases.
Design electrical systems based on functional requirements, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Specify electrical components and conduct peer reviews of technical specifications.
Create detailed electrical drawings, layouts, and perform power and cable calculations.
Provide compliance checks and technical reviews during the sales phase of projects.
Identify and address project complexities and technical challenges proactively.
Share technical knowledge and mentor junior engineers.
Drive continuous improvement in product content, engineering processes, and tooling.
Document and integrate lessons learned into future projects.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Education:
BE/B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering from a recognized university/institution.
Experience:
6 - 8 years in industrial automation or logistics process automation.
Technical Skills:

Proficient in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, and E-Plan 5/P8.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems including power/control systems, switchgear, and field equipment.
Familiarity with fieldbus systems such as Profibus, Profinet, ASi, and Ethernet.
Understanding of IEC and EN electrical standards.
Experience in material handling systems is a plus.
Ability to perform health and safety risk analysis on components.
