Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a high-potential, early-career engineer who fundamentally understands how to leverage AI to accelerate software development. This role is for individuals who may not have deep experience but possess strong logical reasoning, exceptional prompt engineering skills, and the agility to rapidly learn and apply new technologies with AI assistance.

This engineer will tackle diverse technical challenges across various stacks, using AI tools to prototype, code, debug, and deploy solutions at high velocity.

Key responsibilities include:

• AI-Powered Development: Utilize AI tools (e.g., Claude Code and emerging autonomous agents) as the primary method for code generation, debugging, and understanding unfamiliar codebases.
• Rapid Prototyping and Iteration: Quickly translate business requirements into functional prototypes by effectively prompting and directing AI assistants.
• Full-Stack Flexibility: Work across different parts of the stack (frontend, backend, databases, scripting) using AI to bridge knowledge gaps in unfamiliar technologies.
• AI Output Validation & Debugging: Critically assess AI-generated code for accuracy, security, and efficiency; debug and refine outputs to meet production standards.
• Workflow Automation: Identify and build small-scale automations for repetitive engineering or operational tasks using scripting and AI tools.
• AI Tool Scouting: Actively research, test, and champion new AI tools and agentic frameworks that could improve team productivity.
• API Integration: Build and integrate APIs for internal tools and external services.

Preferred candidate profile

Functional competencies (Must have skill):

• Prompt Engineering: Exceptional ability to structure clear, context-rich prompts to guide LLMs in producing high-quality code and solutions.
• Strong Programming Fundamentals: Solid understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and OOP concepts.
• Core Language Proficiency: Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Problem Decomposition: Ability to break down complex problems into smaller tasks suitable for AI assistance.
• Version Control: Working knowledge of Git.
• Learning Agility: Demonstrated ability to learn new frameworks/languages rapidly.

Good to Have:

• Full Stack Exposure: Familiarity with both frontend (e.g., React) and backend (e.g., Node.js, Django/Flask) concepts.
• Cloud Basics: Exposure to AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Databases: Understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• AI Agent Frameworks: Exposure to LangChain, LlamaIndex, or autonomous agents.
