Key Responsibilities: Conduct concurrent and prepayment audits related to expenses including third-party services, manpower hiring, and supply chain activities—ensuring compliance with statutory norms, accounting standards, contract terms, and company policies Independently manage internal audit assignments across departments such as Procurement, HR, Stores, Maintenance, Security, Production, etc. Handle special audits , whistleblower cases, and investigation assignments as assigned by senior management Perform contract closure audits , pre-audit vendor assessments, and employee onboarding file audits Periodically verify and reconcile key inventory materials—such as sheet metal, engine parts, oils & lubricants, tools, and other consumables Actively participate in witnessing and validating operational processes and activities on the shop floor and at vendor sites Conduct process audits , draft Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and ensure SOPs are implemented and followed Identify gaps in internal controls and recommend corrective actions for operational efficiency and compliance Execute financial, operational, and compliance audits as per the annual audit calendar Support senior auditors and team leaders in completing various plant-level and corporate-level assignments Maintain audit MIS, prepare audit plans, checklists, and regular status reports as per audit program directives.
